So I am going to share this with you all cause I know that some of you will appreciate this as much as I do..

When I am bored I use this website called stumbleupon, 

and you can choose a ton of things that you are interested in from books to photography to music and the list goes on! I usually pick out a long list of interests because you can find some really awesome/strange things! SO! You pick out your interests and start stumbling!

I have found some awesome recipes like french toast pancakes! I haven't made them yet but I WILL! I have also found things like this and this! Check those links out, I know you will love them!


Then I think you guys should start stumbling too! 

Baby Showers & Closer to Delivery!

I cant believe that its almost time for Addison to finally be here!! When I think about it, the time really has flown by! But, now that Im 9 months... I wouldnt mind if she just all the sudden came! I cant wait to meet her and to start feeling not pregnant! ANDD so I can maybe go on a "good job for carrying baby" shopping spree :] 

So right now I am 36 weeks and 4 days!

AKA HUGE! 

Got an ultra sound.. shes getting her head nicely snugged down LOW.. and she weighs about 5-5.5lbs. Im not sure if I want her to get much bigger than that! lol

Also, I had my baby showers! Yes, I had two. They were awesome! My house belongs to Addison now. I got just about EVERYTHING I could have possibly needed! Im a little bit jealous of my unborn child lol!! Her closet looks better than anyone elses I know :]

Grandma & Grandpa Durnan got her this amazing crib that I just LOVE, and Grandma Whipple made her this super way cute bedding set :]

Oh, and we will be making a few statements! 

I took a little nap after the shower and when I woke up, Niels had EVERYTHING set up... Including her bathroom! He filled up her medicine cabinet, got her tub all together, set her towels up on the towel rack and also filled up a cute little basket full of her bath stuff and more towels. 
Ya think hes excited at all?? lol 


He will be such a good daddy! Addison already has him wrapped around her finger! I cant wait to see the two of them together :]


Thank you to everyone that came and helped us out! We really really appreciate it and couldnt have done this without the support of our family and friends! Just a couple more weeks and little missy will be here! 

Catching up on things....

Jeez, I havent blogged in forever it seems like! Ive missed it, so here it goes..

Well a few weeks ago I went to Utah with Debbie, Kelsie and Aunt Kathy. I had so much fun! I loved Utah and its awesome weather and mountains! 

It was my first time going, and I learned alot about Mormons! lol Kels and I went and saw her first movie! Well, her first movie since shes been back on her mission.. We saw Captain America..... DONT see it! Its a HUGE let down! So after a huge dissapointment like that, we went back to Aunt Peggy's house and watched Avatar, and she loved it! Also we went to Josh's wedding.. It was really cute and nice. I finally got to meet the rest of the family so that was really nice! All the cousins are really awesome! OH and then there was the horrendous car ride to Utah and back to AZ! lol It honestly wasnt THAT bad, but my back thought it was! Overall it was a really great trip and I loved seeing the people I already knew and the meeting the rest of them!

Moving onnnnnn, Im 34 weeks prego this week! 

Only 6 weeks left! Im starting to get super nervous and excited all at the same time! Its almost an unreal feeling! I just cant wait to see what she is going to look like! Im really nervous to push her out though! Thank the Lord for epidurals!!!! :] Im having a baby shower this weekend and next weekend that I am super excited for! I cant wait to get working on her room! It needs to be done FAST! She could come anytime after the showers! I would be so mad if she came early and her cute little room wasnt ready for her! lol 

My mom bought Addison a stroller and car seat!

Its cute and neutral for possibly some more babies in the future :] I have quite a plan for Niels and I and our little family... that wont be so little in like 10 years ! Niels put the stroller together then started pushing it around the house, running over whatever was in his way yelling, "Oh YEAHHH! Look how good it runs over things! This is awesome!" Hahahah I was like ummm, I really hope thats not how your going to push our baby around! Like a crazy angry daddy! lol

Oh, I started back at my old job too at Arizona Hair co doing Reception! I worked there for almost 3 years then I quite for a year and now Im back! I really love it there!

Ok, so Im going to keep this up to date till Addison comes! I SWEAR!

FINALLY, I met Kelsie!!!

Yep, that's right, I have never even met her before! I had gotten married and pregnant before she even came home! What can we say, we just wanted to get the party started! Anyways, we made a ton of signs and t-shirts for her and we wore everything to the airport. There was so much anticipation! We welcomed SOOO many random people to Arizona though! hahaha It was great. I was standin there thinkin, "we should totally come and do this when we are bored!" It was seriously quite entertaining, people seemed really confused! Then finally she came! She seemed so overwhelmed cause everyone was seriously just screaming and so excited to see her! 

She bought Addison a few super cute outfits and little shoes! Two of the outfits I seriously cant wait to see her in cause shes going to look like a little gangster girl and its going to be funny and adorable all at the same time! The little tennis that she got though make me crazy cause they are so cute! Im tellin you, this girl is so spoiled already she is just going to love life! 

But I LOVE Kelsie, shes so cute and her laugh is so contagious I love it! I cant wait to go on a road trip with her next week and get to know her completely! Its gunna be so much fun!

Why I Love Niels Whipple!

• He's my best friend
• He tells me how beautiful I am every single day
• He is so so hard working
• He is a family man
• He talks to my tummy and tells Addison how much he loves her and can't wait to meet her
• He will do whatever it takes no matter the situation
• He goes out of his way for me
• I can NEVER stay mad at him cause he always makes me smile
• He makes me laugh ALL the time
• He does the dishes
• He carries me to our door when the sprinklers are on(and they always seem to be on whenever we come home)
• He rubs my back when it hurts
• He is so super cute
• I love love love his smile, it makes my heart melt
• He says he's the best at: egg tossing at Easter time, swimming, Foosball, driving and whatever else he can think of lol!
• He is super supportive of whatever I want to do
• He doesn't trust doctors, he knows whats best LOL
• He is the cutest daddy in the world
• He is not a quitter
• He is a momma's boy
• He is definitely his fathers son!
• He is the most motivated person I have ever met
• He is the best thing that has ever happened to me
• I think God made him for me
• He is perfect in my eyes
• He likes to shop for me, mainly he helps me get in and out of the store fast haha

I could go on and on... but seriously I love him so much I wouldnt trade him for anything on the planet! I cant wait for our little one to come and start a huge family together and be together forever and ever <3

Realizing Responsibilities.

This post is a little bit from frustration.. I know someone that may possibly be pregnant. She was not on birth control and used no protection at the time. Its too early for her to tell yet if she is, but I am talking to her a little bit here and there cause she came to me with the concern that she could be. I asked her if she wanted to be, and her response was..."well I think it would be an experience, so yeah I kinda do want to be". That right there really got me going cause she said is in such a nonchalant way...

Girls these days are getting so wrapped up in these teen mom shows and the 16 and pregnant shows and the cute little baby part of things. There is sooooo much more to bringing a baby into the world. Its really kinda selfish of girls to want to bring a baby into the world when they are far from ready.. What I mean by that is, this girl I am talking about has no support system, shes not married and she has no boyfriend to take care of her and she doesnt have the best group of friends and Im not sure how much her family will be willing to help. She told her now ex boyfriend that she may be pregnant, and he shows no sign of caring in the slightest.

Yes, Niels and I were caught off guard when I got pregnant, but I was on birth control and it failed me... No we are still not prepared for Addison to come home with us when the day comes, but is anyone really ever TRULY prepared?! We are now realizing how much diapers we are going to need and how expensive they are and we know that we are going to be up all hours of the night with her and that we need strollers, car seats, a crib, play mats, baby bath tub, clothes, on top of the bills we already have. Dont get me wrong Im not mad at any of these things, my point is... these girls forget about ALL these very important things! These things never stop either cause they keep growing!

I guess now that I am pregnant I take these things to heart more. I just love this little girl so much that I cant imagine bringing her into a broken home. I could never do this without my husband. It just breaks me to think that people could forget about all the important parts of bringing a child into the world. Addison is one of the best accidents that has ever happened to Niels and I. And YES we are so wrapped up in the how cute she is going to be part! But we are also not forgetting the importance of her needs and we will do everything we possibly can to prepare for her homecoming! I just wish people would be more careful when they are having sex and i wish people wouldnt forget about the consequence along with it.

SO there! Thats my two cents! :]

While the Game's on...

Everynight at midnight I get stuck watching the D-backs game with Niels because he misses the live games while he's at work, I get pretty bored while they are on so I figured I'd blog this time. 

The 4th of July was pretty awesome this year with my new family! It was Niels' and I first 4th together. We swam all day and got tanned/burnt(which was the goal...SUCCESS!). Trevor had a ton of fireworks so when it got dark the boys put on a firework show for everyone in the back yard while we all sat in the pool and shouted American things and songs over the loud booms and bangs. These were some of the things randomly shouted: "WAL-MART!, POWER-TOOLS!, FREEDOM!, KFC! and, a bunch more that seriously cracked me up, along with God Bless America, The Pledge of Allegiance and few other songs. 

Alsoooooo Kelsey, my sister I've never met FINALLY is coming home this month! I am so so excited to meet her! I say finally like I've been waiting the whole year in a half for her to come back but it seriously feels that way! lol! I'm just really excited cause I hear so much about her and we have emailed a lot back and forth AND because she IS my new sister!!! 

Only about 11 weeks left of my pregnancy! I cant believe how fast it has gone by so far! Niels and I are so super excited fro her arrival. Niels is going to be the cutest dad ever! He already is actually! There is no doubt in my mind that we are going to be great parents! :]
