Why I Love Niels Whipple!

• He's my best friend
• He tells me how beautiful I am every single day
• He is so so hard working
• He is a family man
• He talks to my tummy and tells Addison how much he loves her and can't wait to meet her
• He will do whatever it takes no matter the situation
• He goes out of his way for me
• I can NEVER stay mad at him cause he always makes me smile
• He makes me laugh ALL the time
• He does the dishes
• He carries me to our door when the sprinklers are on(and they always seem to be on whenever we come home)
• He rubs my back when it hurts
• He is so super cute
• I love love love his smile, it makes my heart melt
• He says he's the best at: egg tossing at Easter time, swimming, Foosball, driving and whatever else he can think of lol!
• He is super supportive of whatever I want to do
• He doesn't trust doctors, he knows whats best LOL
• He is the cutest daddy in the world
• He is not a quitter
• He is a momma's boy
• He is definitely his fathers son!
• He is the most motivated person I have ever met
• He is the best thing that has ever happened to me
• I think God made him for me
• He is perfect in my eyes
• He likes to shop for me, mainly he helps me get in and out of the store fast haha

I could go on and on... but seriously I love him so much I wouldnt trade him for anything on the planet! I cant wait for our little one to come and start a huge family together and be together forever and ever <3

Realizing Responsibilities.

This post is a little bit from frustration.. I know someone that may possibly be pregnant. She was not on birth control and used no protection at the time. Its too early for her to tell yet if she is, but I am talking to her a little bit here and there cause she came to me with the concern that she could be. I asked her if she wanted to be, and her response was..."well I think it would be an experience, so yeah I kinda do want to be". That right there really got me going cause she said is in such a nonchalant way...

Girls these days are getting so wrapped up in these teen mom shows and the 16 and pregnant shows and the cute little baby part of things. There is sooooo much more to bringing a baby into the world. Its really kinda selfish of girls to want to bring a baby into the world when they are far from ready.. What I mean by that is, this girl I am talking about has no support system, shes not married and she has no boyfriend to take care of her and she doesnt have the best group of friends and Im not sure how much her family will be willing to help. She told her now ex boyfriend that she may be pregnant, and he shows no sign of caring in the slightest.

Yes, Niels and I were caught off guard when I got pregnant, but I was on birth control and it failed me... No we are still not prepared for Addison to come home with us when the day comes, but is anyone really ever TRULY prepared?! We are now realizing how much diapers we are going to need and how expensive they are and we know that we are going to be up all hours of the night with her and that we need strollers, car seats, a crib, play mats, baby bath tub, clothes, on top of the bills we already have. Dont get me wrong Im not mad at any of these things, my point is... these girls forget about ALL these very important things! These things never stop either cause they keep growing!

I guess now that I am pregnant I take these things to heart more. I just love this little girl so much that I cant imagine bringing her into a broken home. I could never do this without my husband. It just breaks me to think that people could forget about all the important parts of bringing a child into the world. Addison is one of the best accidents that has ever happened to Niels and I. And YES we are so wrapped up in the how cute she is going to be part! But we are also not forgetting the importance of her needs and we will do everything we possibly can to prepare for her homecoming! I just wish people would be more careful when they are having sex and i wish people wouldnt forget about the consequence along with it.

While the Game's on...

Everynight at midnight I get stuck watching the D-backs game with Niels because he misses the live games while he's at work, I get pretty bored while they are on so I figured I'd blog this time. 

The 4th of July was pretty awesome this year with my new family! It was Niels' and I first 4th together. We swam all day and got tanned/burnt(which was the goal...SUCCESS!). Trevor had a ton of fireworks so when it got dark the boys put on a firework show for everyone in the back yard while we all sat in the pool and shouted American things and songs over the loud booms and bangs. These were some of the things randomly shouted: "WAL-MART!, POWER-TOOLS!, FREEDOM!, KFC! and, a bunch more that seriously cracked me up, along with God Bless America, The Pledge of Allegiance and few other songs. 

Alsoooooo Kelsey, my sister I've never met FINALLY is coming home this month! I am so so excited to meet her! I say finally like I've been waiting the whole year in a half for her to come back but it seriously feels that way! lol! I'm just really excited cause I hear so much about her and we have emailed a lot back and forth AND because she IS my new sister!!! 

Only about 11 weeks left of my pregnancy! I cant believe how fast it has gone by so far! Niels and I are so super excited fro her arrival. Niels is going to be the cutest dad ever! He already is actually! There is no doubt in my mind that we are going to be great parents! :]

Back in Action !

So Niels and I went to Tucson this weekend and spent a couple days with my best friend Jamie and her family. We've been best friends since my sophomore year of high school and she is going to Afghanistan next month for 4 months. I feel bad for her cause shes going to miss her daughter Sawyers firsts of alot of things because she is only 6 months. Im just glad she only got a 4 month deployment so she will be back in time for her first birthday! I couldn't even imagine leaving my little girl before she was a yr old. Im just glad its easy for them to communicate with family and stuff from over there so she will be able to Skype with her husband and little girl.

Her and Addison are best friends already! Hahah I cant wait for them to be real best friends!

Man, my ribs have been hurting like crazy lately! AND my back! I told my doctor all this and she basically said, yup thats what happens! I was looking for more of a "Oh, here's something to help your back(writes prescription) lol! But she suggested a prenatal massage, so I got one scheduled for this week, hopefully its as amazing as they say it is.

Also! Niels and I finally got our brand new couch our parents bought us! ITS AMAZING having a whole couch instead of a tiny love seat, or 1/3 of a couch lol

Its hard to see how big it is in this picture, but its a pretty big couch! So if you want to come over to sit on our couch.... please do! :] 

Oh, I start going to the doctor every two weeks now! I cannot believe how fast my pregnancy is going by... It seems just like yesterday I sat down the parents and said " I had a little whoopsie!" hahah! so far its the best accident thats ever happened. Its crazy how you can love someone so much that you haven't even met yet! 

Summer!

So, today Niels and I went to his friends birthday kick-back, and for some CRAZY reason, we were sitting outside! No, there was not a pool anywhere in site... and I literally felt like I was melting!! Now I know why everyone has been telling me being pregnant in the summer sucks! So we went inside because I was burning up, and I did not cool down for like 25 minutes! So I have a feeling this is going to be a loooong summer ! lol 

Tonight I made "juicy lucy's" and mac & cheese for dinner. I saw juicy lucy's on the tv show man vs. food once and they are delicious! Basically its a burger with a bunch of cheese in the middle , so when you bite into it you get an explosion of delicious, perfectly melted cheese in your mouth! Niels scarfed two down in minutes. But really he scarfs anything down in minutes lol. Oh, the other night I made chicken enchilada chili. It turned out to be one of the best things I have ever made! if anyone wants the recipe let me know! Its great!

Preggie update:

26 weeks.. gettin bigger and bigger everyweek!

I think I have a little acrobat in there! Or shes just really bored in that dark little cave in there! lol

Workin mom-to-be!!

Welp, I finally got a job! No more playing house wifey, booo! Its for the best though I guess! Its kind of a perfect job for me right now. Its part time, M-F 830am to noonish or 1. Today I stayed till 2. Im this guy Rob's assistant. Basically I call around to law firms around the valley and fill his schedule up! He works for LexisNexis and sells law firms softwares to help better run their firm. Its pretty quite, we work from his home office. Its just kinda boring cause its only him and I in the office and hes kinda an older gentleman so I feel like it would be more fun if he were a girl so I had someone to talk to all day, cause Im a talker for sure! lol What can I say Im a girl!

I guess thats why I stayed at the hair salon for 3 years! 

So the plan is to work there after I have the baby, so Niels can stay home with her in the mornings, then I will be home in the afternoon to stay with her while Niels goes to work, then drop her off at one of the parents for a few hours while I go to school from 5pm to 9pm and Niels will pick her up when he gets off work around 7 or 8pm! Sounds like a good plan, but now Im reading this and now it just sounds exhausting! I just gotta remember it will only be for a short time! Or maybe we will win the lottery right when Addison is born and I will never have to work again! lol (yeahhh right!)

Now Im feeling like a baby cause before I had to do this whole work thing, I got to spend all morning and half the afternoon with my husband, but today he left for work right when i got home and I feel like I havent seen him ALL DAY! I miss him! Now I know how my sister Roni feels! I feel your pain girl!!

Nurse Whipple

So, this past week Niels has been pretty sick, he got sick last Saturday just upchuckin everywhere! Everyday since then he has thrown up at least once or twice. And this boy is soooooo stubborn about going to the doctor! So finally on Thursday I made him go cause he was still getting sick after 5 days! So he went and they didnt even tell him anything of course, they just gave him some nausea medicine and sent him on his way! Well its been a week now and i woke up to my poor little husband getting sick in our bathroom... Something is seriously wrong with his tummy and Im starting to really worry about what is goin on in there! If his stomach is still paining by Tuesday Im making him go back to the doctor, I cant stand to see him suffer! :[ But I think Ive been an OK nurse, giving him liquids and crackers and stuff!

Also this week, I had another ultra sound on my "cyst"(thats what the doctors are calling it but the specialist doesnt think its a cyst). They just wanted to check and see if it had gotten any smaller or bigger, but its still the same size, 8cm long and about 6cm wide. The specialist doctor never got back to us to let us know what she thought it could have been, so my doctor is going to call her and see if she can get anymore updates on it. The only good thing about this so called cyst is I get more ultra sounds than anyone else normally would! Addison weighs 1.3 pounds! Im really starting to pop now too, Im excited about it! 

And update on the rents: Their doin really good! Walking around and starting to be more active each day I think. At least they dont look like an old couple walking around anymore lol !
